The Newport Revitalization and Preservation Society invites you to our Movies Under the Stars series on June 20th for “An American Tail”! We thank Members 1st Credit Union for their generous sponsorship of our first movie this summer.
Bring your chairs and blankets and enjoy this free movie under the stars at Newport Veterans Memorial Park (Front and Oliver Streets). The Newport Girls Fast Pitch League concession stand will be open.
Screening begins at 8:45 pm and ends at approximately 10:15 pm. Rated G.

While emigrating to the United States, a young Russian mouse gets separated from his family and must locate them while trying to survive in a new country.
Fievel is a young Russian mouse separated from his parents on the way to America, a land they think is without cats. When he arrives alone in the New World, he keeps up hope, searching for his family, making new friends, and running and dodging the cats he thought he’d be rid off.
